Classes are an ongoing experience in bushcraft, survival skills, naturalist studies, wild food harvesting, herbalism, animal tracking and so much more. Each class centers around group and individual crafting projects, daily landscape wandering, and group games that connect kids to themselves and to wild places on a deeper level.

Students are encouraged to be lead by curiosity and instinct, to step outside of their comfort zones and to work within both the human and natural communities that we are a part of.

Building structures, cooking food and teamwork are what this week is all about. We’ll be living our best camp life with fun team games, building with natural materials, eating campfire cuisine and homemade popsicles. Last year we built a beautiful fire pit as well as tables and benches for feasting on. How will the village grow this year!

Our small group summer camps encourage kids to be aware, to work in a community, and gain independence and confidence through respect for themselves, the natural world and each other. Games, exploring the landscapes, and handmade projects are daily activities and lead by advanced level outdoor educators.

Filled with exciting games, challenges and potential challenge of hunting their teacher. Hot days will include dips in the local stream.
